A tenuous if decidedly co-dependent friendship between Fuzz & Pluck followed, sending them on a series of not-so-heroic adventures. But now, we find them on a ramshackle barge, slowly drifting out to sea. How did they get there? How will they escape? The answer lies in the book’s title, but the true fun is in the Picaresque and often Swiftian adbsurdities that our heroes find themselves in along the way. Boy's Club Book Release with Matt Furie

Matt Furie brings the fury of Boy’s Club to Secret Headquarters in Los Angeles for a book release shindig. This will be a hot one L.A., so don’t sleep on it! Matt will be signing books and selling artwork!
Cartoonist Matt Furie’s deadpan comics showcase slacker roommates Andy, Brett, Landwolf, and Pepe in a series of comical vignettes combining laconic psychedelia, childlike enchantment, drug-fueled hedonism, and impish mischief. The perpetually insouciant glaze of his characters belie the sharp verbal and visual wit of Furie, who delivers a stoner classic for the Tumblr generation. In fact, Furie’s wildly popular teenage weirdoes became an overnight internet sensation when Pepe the Frog was widely adopted by users of 4chan and remixed ad infinitum from there (including uses by pop stars like Nicki Minaj and Katy Perry), giving Boy’s Club built-in recognition with many. A spiritual cousin to Simon Hanselmann’s Megahex and Joán Cornella’s Mox Nox, Boy’s Club’s sense of humor will especially resonate with fans of stoner comedies and black humor.

SHQ is thrilled to host the release of issue 3 of Los Angeles illustrator Tuesday Bassen's Ugly Girl Gang zine! It will be risograph printed in black, hot pink, and neon yellow. We'll also have original art, screenprints, plus pins, patches, and posters!
The SHQ Club Shirt is back by popular demand, in a new colorway AND with a pocket! Available in the shop and through our online store.
We got together with Filth Mart and made an extremely small number of super high quality silkscreened shirts. Printing was done with water-based inks using Filth Mart's press in the back of their shop on Fairfax.
